“Kabbalah: How to Use Jewish Mysticism to Reach Your Goals and Dreams” by Stanley Fidel
"This is an application of the Wisdom of the Kabbalah to setting and realizing goals. It is a book of Jewish mysticism which is the source of most new age spiritual writing, Years ago, I used one of its teachings – visualization – without realizing that the Kabbalah is the origin of concepts like visualization and the law of attraction. At that time, I had a burning desire to write the lyrics for a movie theme song and I used visualization to realize my dream. I had come across the concept in another book and used it successfully to have my lyrics in a major Disney movie, The Fox and the Hound. I wrote the lyrics for the theme song, The Best of Friends. Since I was a totally unknown writer then, the fact that I could be the lyricist of a major movie theme song constituted a minor miracle. Since then, I have studied much more about Kabbalah as well as many secular works on goal-setting. The information in this book will allow anyone to reach her goals and dreams. Most other books about Kabbalah are spiritually oriented. The rabbis and others who write about it largely do so from a spiritual foundation. Indeed, the Kabbalah, based on the esoteric and largely incomprehensible Zohar, is fundamentally a spiritual work. As I mention in my book, rabbis say that God used the Kabbalah as a blueprint to create the world. In the same manner, readers can utilize it to create their world, or as I like to put it – to reach your goals and dreams. It is this practical application of a highly spiritual work that renders this book unique."
